At the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century, Serbia was going through tremendous temptations: the breakup of Yugoslavia, civil wars, hundreds of thousands of refugees, severe economic sanctions, NATO aggression, the seizure of Kosovo and Metohija, the breakup of the community with Montenegro, catastrophic privatization, the departure of tens of thousands of young people out of the country ...
The result is millions of impoverished and disgraced people.
Satanized, found guilty of all crimes, accused of war crimes ...
they are increasingly losing faith in the future and well-being, a sense of national belonging and community.
Its a defeat.Not acknowledging the obvious and self-deception prevents us from stopping rubbing and stumbling.
Failure to acknowledge reality causes us to act unrealistically and pretend that everything is right.
A large number of people choose passivity, apoliticality and slowly get used to the hopelessness because it seems to them that nothing is worth more.We think its worth it.
We choose to fight.
Thats why Fighters.
Fighters as a symbol of opposing surrender, entropy, depression, indifference, lack of humanity, arrogance, looting, arbitrariness ...Why are we called Fighters?
There are more beautiful Serbian words - fighter, warrior.
But in the first place, it gained ideological meaning that divides more than it merges, and gives us too much division.
The other one has a militant tone, and we are tired of the wars.
The foreign word fajter was chosen to carry a sporting connotation.We are addressing a number of Serbian citizens who are impoverished, brought to the brink of existence with wages that are among the lowest in Europe.
The life of most is reduced to a struggle for bare survival.
On the one hand, they have been exploited by domestic tycoons and international corporations; parasitic bureaucracy and incompetent state administration live on; eventually they are waiting for banks with mere survival loans that end in debt bondage.These are people there is no one to protect.
They dont have bodyguards, lawyers, spokespersons, marketing agencies, their media ...
They cry for justice.
Fighters are ready to fight for them.
Fighters are on their side.
